This is the first question almost everyone asks, and most contractors dodge it. Here is a straight answer.
Most of the kitchens we build in Bonita Springs land between $45,000 and $65,000 with Fabuwood cabinetry. That is a full remodel: new cabinets, new countertops, new backsplash, new lighting, new sink and faucet, and the finish work to put the room back together properly.
Whether you land at the bottom of that range or the top comes down to four decisions. Below is what actually moves the number, so you can see where your kitchen is likely to sit before you ever call anyone.
1. Whether the layout changes
This is the biggest single factor, and it is not really about materials.
If your new kitchen keeps the sink, the range, and the refrigerator roughly where they already are, the job is a finish job. Cabinets come out, cabinets go in, and the mechanical systems mostly stay put.
The moment you move plumbing, relocate a gas line, or take out a wall, you have added trades, inspections, and unknowns behind the drywall. Opening a kitchen to the great room is usually worth every dollar it costs, and it is also the change most likely to push a project toward the upper end of the range.
2. The cabinetry
Cabinets are the largest line item in any kitchen, which is why we are specific about what we build with.
We use Fabuwood. Within that there is real range: door style, finish, whether you go full-height to the ceiling, how much of the run is drawers instead of doors, and how many specialty cabinets you add. Drawers cost more than doors. Full-height cabinetry costs more than leaving a gap and a soffit. Both are usually worth it.
The size of the kitchen matters here in the obvious way. A galley and a great-room kitchen with a ten-foot island are not the same order.
3. The countertop
Material choice moves this line meaningfully. Quartz is where most of our clients land, and for good reason in Florida. Natural stone runs higher and asks more of you in maintenance. A waterfall island, where the stone folds down the ends in one continuous piece, costs more than a standard edge because of the fabrication and the extra material.
Square footage matters, and so does the number of seams and cutouts.
4. What else you fold in
A kitchen remodel rarely stays perfectly inside the kitchen, and that is usually the right call.
Common additions: extending the new flooring into the adjoining rooms so there is no threshold, updating the lighting plan rather than reusing the old cans, adding under-cabinet lighting, upgrading the appliance package, and carrying paint and trim through the connected living space. Each one is optional. Together they are often the difference between a new kitchen and a house that feels renovated.
What is not in that range
Two things, so there are no surprises.
Appliances are usually bought separately, and the spread between a mid-range package and a professional one is wider than anything else in the project.
And real structural work is its own scope. If a wall you want gone is carrying load, the beam, the engineering, and the framing sit outside a standard remodel budget. We tell you that at the design stage, not halfway through demolition.
